Since 1983, there has been a VIRL branch in the community. Located inside the Multiplex Building at 36 Cedar Avenue West, it offers a host of interests with a large collection of materials that can be borrowed. In addition, it is the first branch on Haida Gwaii to be designed as an open concept community hub, to become the ‘living room’ for all kinds of social gatherings and activities in the community.
