Port Clement Museum

Built in 1987 the Port Clements Museum is owned and operated by the Port Clements Historical Society. Also serving as the Village’s tourist information centre, this museum has indoor and outdoor displays on the local pioneer history in Port Clements with a particular focus on the logging industry on Haida Gwaii.

It is home to more than 2,000 artifacts in their collection, including the famous White Raven and a preserved piece of Kiidk’yass (the Golden Spruce) as well as photographs and information. They have an extensive collection of photo albums, historical newspaper clippings and videos that capture a wide volume of local history.

On the grounds of the Museum along the waterfront you can access a short trail that offers a beautiful view of Stewart Bay, complete with picnic tables and benches to sit down and contemplate the view.
