Community

Port Clements is located centrally on Graham Island, the largest island of the ecologically unique archipelago of Haida Gwaii. Nestled on the southeast edge of Masset Inlet, in between the mouths of the Yakoun River and Kumdis River. From its vantage point, Port Clements is ideally situated as a gateway to the wilderness of our island home, as well as other communities on island. It is about the same driving time to get from/to Skidegate and Daajing Giids on the south end of the Island as it is to Masset and Old Massett on the north end of the Island (each approximately a 45 minute and 1 hour drive respectively).

Affectionally referred to as “Port” by locals, Port Clements is famous as a cozy, quiet little town overlooking Masset Inlet – offering breathtaking sunsets, magical rainbows, and a spectacular skyline. We offer easy access to the inlet and the forest settings beyond; allowing our community to be the centre of your fishing, hunting, or outdoor recreational activities.
